At Safe Shop Tools, we develop and market innovative tools for industry and recreation. Using a multi-step process, we transform promising prototypes into finished, profitable products, which we then sell or license to third parties.

OUR PROCESS

We start by identifying the market need for a product. Then we evaluate the size and viability of the market. After that we research and discover promising prototypes, often fresh from the workshops of mechanics or sportsmen.

Then we refine the design. Specifically, we redesign the product to be durable, easy to use, easy to ship, and easy to assemble. Using rigorous engineering, we refine, perfect, and improve. At the same time we secure patents, trademarks, and other intellectual property.

Next we nail down critical (and often overlooked) details such as warranties, product liability insurance, labels, and instruction manuals. Finally we commercialize the product. That means field-testing it, introducing it to the appropriate distribution network, and building a brand though advertising and publicity.
