SAFE SHOP TOOLS - COMPANY HISTORY
In 1980, Craig co-founded Rawlings Construction Company, which manufactured the Rawlings Rotary Hog, a wood waste processor. Craig and Hale built sales in excess of two million a year and turned the company’s product into the industry standard. In 1989, Craig and Hale founded Lifting Technologies. Inc. and commercialized the suspended personnel platform that was the company’s flagship product.
Craig and Hale founded Safe Shop Tools in 1992 and built it into the premier manufacturer of “wheel end” safety products for truck mechanics. In 2005, they fulfilled the company’s corporate mandate by selling its complete line of “Truck Service” tools, trademarks and patents to Tire Service Equipment Manufacturing Company Inc., a leading manufacturer of tire and truck service tools.
